The spacious, nicely furnished apartment is in the beautiful Roman Hills in a peaceful area, close to all the services. Suited for everybody looking for an escape from the chaos of the city of Rome, but who want to reach the center easily. It’s ideal for 4 people, but can sleep up to 6. There is one large bedroom, one bathroom with a bathtub, a lounge with TV and fully equipped kitchenette with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave etc. In the balcony you find table and chairs: an invite to enjoy a glass of wine outside.

The apartment is well connected to Rome and other cities of the Roman Castles area. In fact, you can reach Termini – the main railway station of Rome – in only about 20 mins with the local train, and the buses take you to the closest metro station in about 10 mins. Both the bus stop and the local train station are near the apartment.

In the area you will find ‘L’Appia Antica’, the famous, ancient Roman road that led from the capital to the south of Italy.

The apartment is close to Ciampino airport (3 kms) and it's easy to reach Fiumicino airport too.

The area is family-friendly: calm and quiet, and attractions like the waterpark of Rome (Zoomarine) is close.

Santa Maria is a small city just outside of Rome, in the Roman Castles area. It is a part of the city of Marino and home for about 13.000 inhabitants. Most of the people work in Rome, and actually it is a sort of a suburb to the city: it’s easy to reach the center and still live in a smaller context.
Santa Maria offers all the services one might search for: restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacies, supermarkets, public transportation… And it is just a short trip away from the Roman Castles.
The area is vulcanic, and if you take a look around, you can still see the remainings of the ancient volcano that dominated the area. Sometimes the odor of sulfur still emerges from the ground. The nearby Lakes Albano and Nemi are actually cones of two volcanos!
Just behind the apartment, you will see the highest peak of Colli Albani, Monte Cavo. It was a sacred area for the Romans and the italic people before them. The sacred road is well conserved and can still be visited!
